For the past two days, I have not been able to log in. I keep getting the following message:
You appear to be coming from behind a proxy. This has been disallowed by the site administrator.
I have read past threads about not being able to log in but I haven't found one with a similar problem as mine.
Some suggestions on how to fix this proxy thing would be nice

me too...i am really frustrated about this incident too. the last time i logged in was six days ago but i did not have this problem.

I know how to fix my proxy settings but it still doesn't work. I'd really like to contact a staff member but I can't petition unless I log in.
Sigh.

well,you can post a comment at some other forum and hope danilo sees them and try to fix the problem. i´ve owled him just now so hope he would reply soon then i´ll inform you

Just click on your name above. It should say "You are logged in as hermionerocks."
Go to Edit > About Me

By that do you mean that people coming from behind a proxy aren't allowed anymore? Nuu!

Leisyl, try this. Go to Tools at the top of your page, then click Options. Then click Advanced, after that Network and Settings. Next, click No Proxy and click the OK at the bottom. try if it works. It worked for me once but now still cannot go in. hope it works for you!

I've already tried that, unfortunately and of course, I didn't work, not even once.
Meh, I guess I'll just wait for some miracle to happen.

Firefox rocks... but 3.3 or 3.0.3 version (I forgot
)
is crashing a lot, I set the automatic updates off and am working with 3.0 itself and it works the best especially with Hogwartslive
I love using Opera and its widgets!
Yeah, Opera seems to be the fastest with GMAIL, it loads and works very fast on Opera.

Leisyl, which Internet Service Provider(ISP) do you use? And those that can log in which ISP do you all use? Leisyl i asked my father he said it might be due to the kind of ISP we are using.
Some ISP make it impossible for the website to track the person visiting the site. SO the person can hack with ease. Hence, some websites like HL would block ppl using those kind of ISP.
Hope it can help you!
P.S. My ISP contract still have 1 1/2 years so i cant do anything about it

I've done some tests on one of my WordPress test sites and I was able to track my browsing around the site.
I'm not sure what ISP I use but I am probably using the cheapest broadband subscription ever because I'm poor too, like you, Benz
Argh, I've been killed approximately 20 times already. (I can see how many owls I have on the top right corner but can't go anywhere else).

I'm not very sure about the ISP thing so it might be wrong.

i just found out a weird thing and i dont really understand why. the last time i tried to log in to HL i had like 20 owls then i tried today and i only have TWO.
